About Marion Parola

Marion Parola is a textile graduate from the Glasgow School of Art. She was born in Brittany, France and moved to Scotland five years ago. She is inspired by daily life stories which she observes on her travels and while cycling through streets and markets.

Marion also feeds her work by collecting haberdashery items such as ribbons, buttons, thread and also objects imprinted by history like teacups, wood blocks, postcards or magazines. The outcome of her creativity is a collection of candles, feather accessories, hand embroideries, prints on textile and paper which are available in a few shops in France and Scotland.

She currently shares her time between freelance and personal work while completing a Masters Degree in fashion at the Glasgow School of Art where she specialises in kid's wear.
